Gearing up for BlogHer

I'm really starting to get excited about BlogHer now! I've been too busy preparing for my session at the BK (Berrett Koehler) Marketing Conference next week, where I'm giving away secrets of the World Café book's success, to think much about it. But now things are starting to hot up.

The BlogHer schedule showed up (in a paper-saving pdf format), and more importantly, my friend Beth (Kanter) has arrived from Boston! Wafting in like the breath of fresh air she is, bearing gifts of delicious-smelling French-milled L' Occitane and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

In one brief conversation she totally transformed my presentation and turned me on to a year's worth of web resources, so I attempted to reciprocate by suggesting ways to hack her TypePad blog (we both use & love TypePad!).

What an incredible pleasure it is to have friends who are also colleagues and excited about the same kinds of things I am! And by tonight I'll be up to my screen-strained eyeballs in geeky girl camaraderie at BlogHer ...
